Logo and Supplementary Graphics for 20th Annual Run the Quay
Run the Quay is an annual race held in Fuquay-Varina, organized by our friends at the Chamber of Commerce. Each year, the logo gets a new color scheme as part of its overall branding. However, for 2024, for its 20th annual race, the team wanted the logo to be fully reimagined. Our instructions were to design a new logo that:
- Incorporated gold and copper (a departure from their usual palette of blues and greens)
- Showcased the number 20 in a prominent way
- Showed a person crossing a “finish line”
Fast Turnaround Time
We finished this design in under a week, incorporating the race lines throughout the text and using the letter Q as both the zero in 20, and the first letter in Quay.
Building on The Design
We went on to continue creating their Facebook cover page and supplementary graphics for upcoming announcements on their social media feeds.
