Marketing and Graphic Design for a set of Florists

This company is unique, because it’s a firm that acquires floral shops throughout the southern states. They purchase shops with retiring owners, or owners who simply wish to move on, and they hook them up to their existing marketing. You’ll notice that all of the brands shown in our portfolio highlight have different logos – but all were purchased by the same company with the goal of increasing profitability by moving them under one brand umbrella. Pulley Media was charged with the following:

  • Developing email campaigns from interest, to sale, to follow-up
  • SEO for all of the brands
  • Google Ad campaign setup and day-to-day management
  • Ongoing graphic design as needed for boosted social posts

Biggest Challenge

The biggest challenge that emerged with this account, was when to rebrand. The acquisition company ultimately wanted all of the companies to have the same name, for brand recognition - but immediately after purchasing a company, you risk losing the trust of the long-term customers who are wary of "new management". Each shop eventually transitioned to a new name and logo, which fell under a more cohesive brand umbrella.

Awareness in Marketing

By paying attention to what the brands had historically done, we were able to make slow, intentional changes. We were able to craft conversion-ready emails for each florist, and capture new information from their clients - such as birthdays and important dates where they might be more likely to convert.
